Aéroport International de Tahiti-Faa'a

Since 2010, nearly 8 billion CFP francs have been dedicated to implementing a realistic investment program, established based on a General Composition Plan developed in 2011.

The implementation of this plan has gradually unfolded through the completion and delivery of several projects, resulting in more than 5 billion CFP francs being invested in Tahiti-Faa’a Airport between 2010 and 2018. Since 2019, the total amount of investments has exceeded 2.5 billion CFP francs.

In the interim period before the designation of the new concessionaire for the Tahiti-Faa’a platform, short-term investments aim to:

  • enhance the facade of Terminal 1 ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games,
  • address the needs arising from the development of both domestic and international traffic by creating a new taxiway to the runway,
  • optimize passenger reception capacities and flow while improving the thermal comfort of the domestic boarding lounge.
