The Customs Department of French Polynesia has introduced a new visa procedure for export sales notes.
Since 1 February 2024, the French Polynesian Customs Authority has introduced a new visa procedure for export sales notes. Travellers can now obtain their visa using a time clock located in the international departure boarding lounge. Once the immigration and security formalities have been completed, travellers date and time-stamp the slip, then deposit the flap to be returned to the merchant in the letterbox provided.
In the event of a check, passengers must present their time-stamped copy of the slip and the goods they intend to keep in their cabin baggage.
