The parcel reception service for items arriving from the islands is located next to the parking payment booth at the freight terminal.

An exemption applies to occasional imports of goods arriving by international air freight by individuals. Beyond the authorized exemption, a flat-rate tax is applicable.

Storage fees may be charged by the MAD manager.

The import of goods valued over 200,000 F CFP is subject to a special entry procedure into the territory.
The goods are subject to a summary declaration and then placed in storage. They are subsequently transferred to the MAD for collection according to the standard withdrawal procedure.

You have the option to freely contract with a freight professional who will handle all the necessary formalities on your behalf. Most of them are located at the airport.
Once the export approval is obtained from the customs service, the International Freight Office processes the packaging for export and inspects the goods. They can also assist you with your export procedures by presenting the airlines operating to your destination.
